The admissions essay tips proved to be particularly useful. I would recommend this to anyone looking at schools. Where you go to school is a life changing decision and it's best to be informed every step of the process.

By Allen This book is great, it gives you guidelines but also has many links to other resources. It's very detailed. I learned a lot from reading this book and will be going back and reading it again and again to get all the info. Interesting section on different myths that college bound youngsters and their parents might have and the facts about them. For one, I realized I had some myths stuck in my brain. My son is a Freshman, but I am glad I had my hands on this book now, and I can start putting him in the right direction from the start. Very clearly written and very precise. Excellent choice for anybody thinking of going to college.

Every high school senior, her/his parents and counselor should read this book, before starting the arduous journey to find, apply and get accepted to a college. Jeffrey Vernamonti not only provides the essentials of the college application process, he also helps separate facts from myths and guides you through the maze of information and options. This is a must read.
