By Derrick & Kim Pero I received this book the author and from Paranormal Romance and Authors That RockSometimes it is hard to see that a relationship is abusive when there are no broken bones or bruises left behind. Words and actions can hurt as much if not worse. Faith finds herself in this kind of relationship and she looks into herself and decides to make a change for the better. She needs out of the marriage, and away from her husband. She makes a plan and starts the process. As hard as it is she keeps going until......you will have to check it out for yourself. This story is well written and a good read. This brings to light a serious subject and the strength inside of us to overcome such things.I give this a 4 out of 5 fangs

By Dee Archer This is a precious book of information and encouragement for women trapped in an abusive relationship. The story of Faith, based on actual case histories, is one that many women will identify with. We read in the news and see in the movies of domestic violence which is usually physical abuse. But I can testify personally that verbal, emotional abuse is far deadlier, debilitating and painful than any fist to the face. As a child raised on verbal abuse, I constantly heard the phrase "Sticks and stones may break my bones but words will never harm me." Heard this quoted on the playground after an encounter with mean spirited kids. After a childhood of verbal abuse, I entered a marriage where the conditioning continued. It was there that I realized that childhood phrase was the most asinine set of words ever uttered. Now in my seventies, some old programming still has the ability to sting but it's only for a second. This book is an excellent opportunity to broach the subject of verbal, emotional abuse and to offer solid guidelines for overcoming and to present encouragement to every soul. I was given this ARC in exchange for an honest review. Five Stars.
