2 of 2 people found the following review helpful. I love a good old-fashioned ghost story By InkedRainbowReads ThreeStarThe concept of this story intrigued me. I love a good old-fashioned ghost story. On that front, the story definitely delivered as promised.Unfortunately, it did little else for me. I realize ghosts are not particularly realistic, but so much of the rest of the story was unrealistic that it distracted me from the exciting paranormal parts. The school setting, the priest, and the "trap" for the killer seemed like they might have needed a bit more research to flesh them out better.I was excited at first to see a bisexual-identified character. Yvonne was everything I love in a bi woman–confident, experienced, and in charge of herself. Sadly, that was negated by Roberta then saying Yvonne was now gay because she was with a woman. That's not how bisexuality works, and it disappointed me.The writing was uneven and could have benefitted from a good going-over by an editor. I think many of the issues would have been resolved.Despite all that, the story definitely held my attention throughout. In terms of storytelling and level of engagement of readers, it was still worth the read.I was given this in return for an honest review by Inked Rainbow Reads.3 starsAmy

Not quite as suspenseful or freaky as The Tracks was for me but I did enjoy the story very much and couldn't put it down until I finished it. If you like ghost stories you should enjoy this one. It's a quick read that gets the imagination going pretty quickly too.
