1 of 1 people found the following review helpful. Hmm By M The illustrations are gorgeous, but the story was lacking. According to this story, Persephone just ate the seeds on her own, apparently unaware of the rules of the dead, and Hades decides to allow her to go up to the surface (which was something I actually liked) The story could have been fleshed out more to befit the lovely illustrations. Also, this book was rather expensive (especially for a paperback!) so I was disappointed when I read it, since I honestly had been expecting more.
