About the Author Megan Brubaker has spent twenty-one years doing behavior work with a variety of animal species including the typical domestic pet: dog, cat, horse, parrot, etc. Exotic pets such as: wolf, raven, coatimundi, wallaby, pig, and llama. And the most challenging species of all, humans. All of Ms. Brubaker’s work includes teaching kindness, and how each of us can become the hero we were born to be. She has worked with many families helping them to overcome relationship issues with their pets, children and spouses, and has worked for her local library district, and a variety of schools. As a writer, Megan has written dozens of programs for clients, multiple articles that have been published in local newspapers, magazines, online magazines and websites. She is currently the writer for the independent comic book series, Mythica, with artist and creator, Matt Campbell.
