This book is great for someone who likes paranormal romances but want something a bit different. Can't wait to see how this ends.
2 of 2 people found the following review helpful. What a Rush!!! By Roxie In this epic tale of romancing the dragon you find adventure at its finest. I felt the excitement from watching behind the scene. I wanted to plan and capture the enemies right along with our leading characters. I was also in the zone with them. My mind was at full force thinking through the plan, when what we have is limited to our counterparts. It made me reflect on life in that we can have limited resources but it is what you put behind it that can make the difference between success and a loss. It is just how you began to perceive your outlook on life in facing that challenge that is so beyond you. I felt the people standing up and deciding to not let fate determine their destiny. It was a groundbreaking choice. We all have a choice. I chose to read this book and take the chance of seeing what the other side of a dragon paranormal adventure entailed. It captured so much more than just the dragon. It showed love. I mean the real love with sacrificing and determination. Yes, the love making was indeed very pleasurable but what they embodied between them was deeper. You have to read it. I am so looking forward to just being there for the next book. This was breathtaking. You want more? Well, this book is for you. Thank you.

I got this book as a ACRand thought I wouldn't like it. I don't care for mystical books in far off places, but China is real and a reporter on the run is very real when the Triad is involved. The setting was picturesquewith its fields in the countryside. I enjoyed how Joy, journalist that she is, took things in stride and believed what she saw and asked questions to back up the truth. She is a well rounded character that knows that sometimes things aren't what they seem and life needs to be take with a grain of salt.What I liked most about this story is that if you take out the dragon the story can still stand on its own as a story about an African-American woman falling for an educated Asian guy. But don't get me wrong I love a good shifter romance and this stry has all the right elements. hopefully there will be future installments, well at least one cause that ending.....well what can I say.
