Strasser This book is one of the best I've seen in the field - an excellent resource for someone just entering or following an interest in cryptozoology, and a thought-provoking collection of information for even seasoned researchers. Parsons has assembled some of the best advice and ideas I've seen among cryptozoology books. It makes a nice addition to Chad Arment's Cryptozoology: Science and Speculation for anyone who takes the field seriously and wants to help move it from pseudoscience to serious inquiry. I am a cryptozoologist, and I am pleased to see a work like this at such a reasonable price. I am looking at texts to use in a course on cryptozoology, and this handbook is on the short list. Well done, Dr. Parsons!.
