The author dedicated one chapter about the art of reciprocation which I found it to be extremely true and helpful if one can master it. Especially in business, everybody needs to work with everybody, and whether or not people will do you a favour depends on how you asked and if you know how to maintain that relationship.Come back to the book, I'd recommend people to read more regarding to this and also other by getting this book.

Antonia Amorsolo The human mind is a wonderful thing, capable of the most wonderful thought processes and ideas. Yet the brain is on automatic pilot for most situations. That allows the conscious mind to really focus. The drawback is that some people will use our conscious inattention to sneak one by us, like a fastball pitch to a hitter looking for a change-up. Psychological Influence by Dan Miller is very useful in this regard, because it uses interesting examples to help us be aware of our own tendency to let automatic pilot thinking take over. Most books of applied psychology fall prey to one of two weaknesses: Either they lack scientific content or over-simplify or they present solid information in an academic manner that readers find difficult to absorb and apply. Dan Miller's book stands out brilliantly from these books. Combining wide and deep scientific scholarship with an engaging, lucid, and personal style, this book may be the single best work on the topic at present. The intent of the book is to show how we can understand and defend against pervasive non-rational influences on our decision-making. Of course the same principles could be applied to market products or influence colleagues and rivals either in place of or in addition to genuine reasons. I highly recommend this book to all professionals. It does not matter if you are a manager, sales person, pastor, or non-profit volunteer. The ideas in this book, once applied, will make it easier for you to accomplish your goals.

This book has so much useful information on how to persuade other people and make them think that you have the right idea. I love the connection that my child can make with the BEEs and his own emotions. Sasha has broken the barrier that was present for my child to be able to communication his frustrations, happiness, and "unknown" feelings to me. Now, he just says a BEE and I understand. There is no longer the frustration of me not being able to understand his behaviors, emotions, and feelings. What a wonderful concept. As an adult I can relate to all of the BEEs as well!!

Intelligently written; increases communication between parents and children By Sara Very intelligently written book for parents and children to understand and explain emotions! So many studies have now shown that EQ (emotional intelligence) is a big factor in successful child development and continues to dictate success into adulthood. This book takes complex feelings, which are difficult for children and adults to comprehend, and associates them with the simpler concept of colors. This book is definitely an easy read that stimulates interesting little discussions when I read it to my nieces and nephews. I love the recap chart at the end; it lists the colors all in one page and makes it easy to point to.

Fiction is sometimes stranger than fiction By Samuel Rafael "Mike versus Michelle," by Sharron Parsons is a novel about a young crossdressing boy whose "en femme" proclivities are accidentally discovered by his mom. As it turns out, this lad's basic motivation for yearning to wear female attire is more a function of fetishistic behavior than it is transsexually-based. It won't give anything away to mention that this youngster also has a peck of emotional issues he is dealing with, not the least of which is an Oedipal-like attraction to his lovely mom.Mike's need to crossdress and smoke Virginia Slims is purely to copy his mom for the sexual pleasure he derives from these activities. However, the gender variant behavior he is exhibiting is totally misconstrued by Mike’s mother. With her larger-than-life, enabling and probably narcissistic personality, she guides him down the "rabbit hole" where he makes life-changing decisions that are essentially self-destructive. Eventually, after several years of inner turmoil, Mike finally comes to terms with who he has become.The downside of this book is that at times it seems so far-fetched, one wonders if actually it could be based upon a true story. Or perhaps, it is merely the figment of the mind of a good writer who is just only somewhat knowledgeable about the MTF transition process? Mike receives breast augmentation at age 15? I wonder about this. However, this novel also contains portions that carry such a ring of absolute truth that I found extremely intriguing. Though having to suspend disbelief a bit, this book is both a memorable and entertaining experience.

This is not the story of a "do or die" transsexual, but rather starts with Mike being a cross-dresser who dresses for pleasure. As she becomes Michelle, even her therapist is able to see that Michelle is different from many of the girls she has worked with. Yet the therapist makes many very interesting recommendations.The book covers transition, marriage, and motherhood. There is one chapter that is sexually descriptive, and the reader is warned when the chapter starts.

Teen's fascination w/ smoking and gender identity issues By radio55 While some of the elements of the story are less than believable, it was an interesting look at a teenage boy's fascination w/ smoking, along w/ a deep look inside of his gender identity issues. This is NOT your typical sissy boy story. Im NOT a smoker, but I get the erotic connections to smoking that are depicted.
