A powerful mix of adventure and intrigue By Amazon Customer In "Tribute to a Trilogy" author James Blackthorne combines three powerful stories to create a thrilling mix of adventure and intrigue that is sure to appeal to fans of fantasy. Blackthorne does not shy away from a thicket of characters, subplots, and themes as he fearlessly hacks through them with machete-like ease. He gives his readers credit for their intelligence by not dumbing down his writing. His style is straightforward and introspective if, at times, a bit jerky. However, this small transgression can be easily forgiven for the captivating story lines and the compelling delivery that characterizes each of these three rich stories. Recommended.
