By Amazon Customer This book is written in first person present tense with alternating chapters - One chapter Carrie, the next Blake. I just wish I had understood that "Part 1" meant that it was going to end right in the middle of the story. I guess I just assumed that Part 2 would be a sequel rather than the rest of the story. And of course, the subsequent "parts" are not Amazon freebies.

While I get that the author is trying to be badass, all I'm getting from this book is prejudice and anger. And not from the people in the book. It's great to have an opinion, but no need to beat it into the ground.Way too much self-reflection on how cool the main guy thinks he is. And the stuff he spouts out ... "I just offered her my jacket, it's not like I chained her to the stove and told her to cook my breakfast bitch!" Is that funny? Ironic?Whatever it is, it's not for me.
