Foreign Affairs, Book TwoFlying halfway 'round the world to meet his potential soul mate sounds like a fine idea to Dylan Sullivan--until he discovers said soul mate, Annie, has gone looking for him. In Australia. Now Dylan's adrift, a bloke from the Outback alone in the bloody big city. Until he's rescued by Monet, a gorgeous local artist...and Annie's best friend.A dyed-in-the-wool New Yorker, Monet has never met anyone like Dylan. Taking temporary care of the sizzling-hot cowboy is easy; he's friendly, funny and interesting. Keeping her hands off him is decidedly not easy. That horny accent, that killer grin...and as a successful artist, Monet is very much a hands-on sort of girl.Dylan and Monet hold back until they learn Annie is engaged in her own foreign affair in Oz. Then all bets--and clothes--are off. But it can only be a fling. An Aussie cowboy doesn't belong in New York any more than a city girl belongs in the Outback. Now if only their hearts would listen.

By Slick Reads 4.5 starsThe second book in this series Cowboy was the companion book to Princess and it rocked every bit as much as the first book. While Annie is in Australia to meet Dylan, he is in New York and starts off kind of angry she isn't there to meet him at the airport so when he arrives at her apartment he meets her friend Monet and OMG the attraction between them is immediate and smokin' hot.I loved that Monet was so into Dylan and knew she was falling for him and it was killing her that he "belonged" to Annie whom she couldn't reach. Dylan was so confused because he came to the US expecting to meet the love of his life and he finds himself drawn to her best friend. Watching Dylan try and deal with New York having lived his whole life on a station in Australia was hilarious. I love that Monet was so torn up about her feelings for Dylan because of her friendship with Annie. There were some seriously hot scenes in this book, one involving a nude drawing and whew, I think I needed a cigarette after that one and I don't smoke!I loved the way this one ended but it was thoroughly enjoyable from the start. Don't miss this one folks, it is AWESOME!

These two characters had so much intense chemistry you could feel the heat coming off the pages. Unfortunately something, or rather someone, is standing in the way of them being together. And the more time they spend together, the harder and harder it is getting for these two to resist the undeniable and powerful connection between them. When they are finally able to come together, I swear my ereader was going to go up in flames. Now I thought that the first book in this series was sizzling hot, but Mari and Lexxie both kicked it up a notch with this second installment of the Foreign Affairs series and I can't wait to get started on the next book!

It didn't take Monet too long to realize she could create her art wherever she lived, but she couldn't live without her love. I look forward to reading more of your work.
