By karen jaffe This wonderfully written book is a must for families faced with Parkinson's disease. Children want and need information, explanations and the truth; Dr Mathur and her children provide a framework for all of this. I know that my husband and I would have welcomed this thoughtful guidance as we often felt that we were on unsteady ground. While my children are now older, they also give this book a 2 thumbs up.

Informed and enlightened my children (ages 4-12) about this disease that has stricken their grandfather. We've read it as a family, my 12 year old has read it to my 4 year old and it has been a wonderful resource for us all. Overall, this book is a springboard into family conversations about the disease and the different perspectives each family member has in understanding the disease.
