Elmer Disclaimer: I received a free copy of this book for giving an honest review of book 2.I've read this entire series and, although this was a quick read, it was a good read. It was definitely better than the second book, but the first is still my favorite in this series. I do like the fact that it wasn't the usual "we're mated and all is well" - they're still two separate people with different ways of dealing with life. I also liked that there were physical ramifications of this violence (unlike book 2), so there is a hospitalization involved as well.

Dix and Kristoff are mates yet they're still working on their relationship. They both have secret spy jobs and Kristoff is so secretive, Dix starts asking questions, which throws all sorts of red flags. The road these two are traveling is rocky and full of detours. Overall the writing is well done, the characters engaging, and even though the stories are extremely short, they are satisfying. In this story Dix and Kristoff come to an understanding but now their covers are blown, at least by the cartels in Mexico. So who knows if their jobs are compromised.My only little nit pick: Someone within their organization wants Two Feather's gone. Or is it Dix? It's alluded to and with this last book it's conclusive. Yet it's not solved. That should be their next assignment, root out the mole. - Dan's Wife

I love Lissa's writing style By Lee Todd * I received an ARC from the author for an honest reviewThis series just gets better!I love Lissa's writing style. She draws you into Logan and Kristof's world that just doesn't run as smoothly as Logan would like.There are definitely angst filled moments and my heart hurts for Logan as he struggles to not push his mate too far too fast.
