Thankfully it is written by an author who is somewhat a child herself, (I think her bio said she was a teenager). You can tell that she herself suffered from some of these dreaded conditions we all have faced. But what makes her stories different is that they are ENTERTAINING. Every short story in this book grabbed my attention and held it throughout the book. Whether you are 10yrs old or 100, this book will keep you turning page after page. In fact, I loved it so much, I read it twice! If your child is experiencing bullying, low self esteem, or feels they don't "fit in", this is the book for them.That is why I used the term Pudding and Pie. This book can show you how to turn sour and hurtful events into something magical and fun. Who says we have to live with the snares of others? I have read all of her books and I am waiting for the next one....Ms. Andres, if you are reading this, please grace us with another one of your wonderfully creative and healing books!

A must have, must read for any parent of a child who is in this sort of situation, be it cruelty of others, or bullying, and or loneliness. I can certainly tell that this book was written by a very strong young woman who has her finger on the pulse of what others in this situation need to know, and she also provides a beautiful bag of mental tools to use in times when things seem bigger than you. I totally recommend this read to anyone, young or old, it's a very important step to taking your life back, taking back the power that someone might have taken from you, or is trying to take from you.

This time she addresses bullying in different forms and social issues at the core of each situation. Really everyone can take something away from this book on how we relate to each other. Good for all ages and especially parents.
